Throughout history sexual relationship between humans has often been a
theme frowned upon or at least not openly discussed in public. For the
last century people have become more tolerant towards different kinds
of sexual manifestation though social attitude to group sex still cannot be called favorable. Yet it is human nature to strive after the forbidden fruit and the issue of group sex retains continuing popularity in pornography and other resources.
While in puritanism societies social attitude to group sex equaled it
to deadly sin, today, today developed countries have group sex clubs
and cafes, which give group sex practitioners an opportunity to meet
and communicate freely and safely. Special parties are organized for gay group sex
practitioners, lesbians, or heterosexuals. Anyway, these meetings are
semi-secret and sometimes take place in unusual locations, like
abandoned buildings, bath-houses or even in the open air, like for
example in wooded areas. With the dangerous spreading of AIDS epidemic,
safer group sex sessions began to be organized, where people use most
reliable contraception or even do not practice penetrative sex at all.
Indeed, as group sex implies participation of multiple (three or more)
partners, the risk of catching an STI or STD increases dramatically,
too. It thus gives another reason for critical social attitude to group
sex.
The presence of group sex scenes on TV, in the movies,
magazines such as the Hustler, and in particular, almost unrestricted
distribution of the related material via the Internet makes pornography
widely available for the minors, who may then be encouraged to
participate in teen group sex with the whole spectrum of harmful consequences.
The negative social attitude towards group sex restricts a lot of
people from engaging in group sex, though arguably it is a common
theme of sexual fantasies of both men and women. Having many partners
at the same time and watching other couples copulating may appear very
rousing for some people yet evoke a terrible feeling of envy or disgust in other persons. |
